The Upper Lodge: Your Private Retreat

Our guest accommodations are located on the second floor, designed to provide a peaceful home away from home.

• The Space: We offer three comfortable bedrooms and a full bathroom with a shower.

• Flexible Booking: Guests can rent rooms individually or book the entire 2nd floor to create a private family suite.

• In-Room Comforts: The upper floor features a dedicated coffee station and snack bar, allowing you to enjoy a morning brew or a late-night treat in the privacy of your guest space.

The Main Floor: Gather & Create

The main floor is the heart of the ranch—a shared community space designed to nourish both your body and your spirit.

• Creative Studio: Guests have access to our on-site studio, the perfect spot to unwind and add a little colour to your day through art and crafting.

• Kitchen & Refreshments: A welcoming area to gather, chat with neighbours, and enjoy the warmth of the house.

• Amenities: A shared washroom is available on the main floor for guest convenience,

Stay Your Way

We offer two simple ways to stay, depending on your needs:

1. The All-Inclusive Option: Let us take care of everything. This includes three full meals and snacks daily, so you can focus entirely on relaxing.

2. The Base Option: Perfect for the independent traveller. This includes a hearty breakfast and refreshment station access, giving you the freedom to explore the town for lunch and dinner.

🌾 Our Vision for the Future

We are dreaming big for the future of Tiny Herd! We are currently in the planning stages and working through the necessary approval processes with the hopes of expanding our offerings.

While not yet available, our vision includes adding:

• A Full-Service Café right here on the property.

• A Miniature Livestock Sanctuary: We are hoping to introduce a therapeutic space featuring miniature livestock (like Highland cows and goats) for the public to enjoy.

We look forward to keeping the community updated as we navigate the permitting process to bring these dreams to life!

Update on the Tiny Herd Guest Ranch Open House

We want to share an important update with the Castor community regarding our upcoming plans.

As of 4:39 PM today (Friday, January 2nd, 2026), we have received an incredible 389 responses to our survey—with 152 of you responding just since 11:00 AM this morning. We are truly overwhelmed that so many of you are excited about what Tiny Herd can bring to the area.

However, we also received concerns from 7 respondents. While this is a small number, we recognize that these concerns come from neighbours within our immediate general area who would be directly affected.

Because we respect you 100%, we are making the decision to postpone the open house until further notice.

We are not here to disrupt or upset Castor; we simply want to bring something special to this community. Even though the support is massive, we believe it is vital to pause until we can address the concerns of our closest neighbours. We want to move forward only when the community is truly on board.
